This website (www.openresearch.nihr.ac.uk) (“NIHR Open Research”) is an open access publishing platform for research conducted by recipients of funding from the National Institute for Health and Care Research (the “NIHR”). NIHR Open Research is operated and maintained by F1000 Research Limited (the “Service Provider”).

The NIHR is the UK’s largest funder of health and care research and is primarily funded by the Department of Health and Social Care (“the Department”). The contracting entity within the Department is the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care (“the Authority”).
